If you're looking for the perfect mix of dancable beats, the sexiest voice you could ever imagine & a Hammer House Of Horror subject matter (that's not without its humorous side) then this is where it's at as ex-Icon Of Coil musician Seb Komor & Rene Cooper-Komor present their first release as Zombie Girl, bringing their own brand of EDBM- Electronic (dead) Body Music- to the world. It's the perfect start for their new band, too, being full of vamped-up, ultra-infectious tracks that are certain to have massive appeal as Renee's sassy spoken vocals tell the "Creepy Crawler" where to get off while "We Are The Ones" is a triumphant, jubilant piece with a really spooky backing providing the finishing touch. "Bleeder" is another surefire dancefloor hit while the already popular "I Want It" sees Renee at her seductive best, enticing you to give yourself up to her hunger for brains. When put so sexily, cranial removal has never sounded so inviting! As for the remixes, KMFDM turn "Creepy Crawler" into a fiery industrial rocker while Soman up the tempo of "I Want It" a touch while adding a slightly more mechanical feel although Seb's solid remix of "We Are The Ones" feels more like filler than the thrillers (in more ways than one) that make up the rest of this EP.
