For over 10 years now the duo LAVANTGARDE - charismatic Singer Frank and soundbuilder and arranger Nick from Hildesheim (near Hannover) - have devoted themselves to electronic music.

In the year 2002 the CD "Musicment" was published after a long wait for their first official release.

A long term break and various solo projects were the reason for this rather extended delay.

However, they never lost their roots but moreover kept being creative and continuously developed their style of music, which they have now followed since beginning of the 90s.

They manage to couple all types of electronic and natural sounds together with catchy, sometimes melancholic tunes & melodies, convincing lyrics and a comprehensive song structure.

By absorbing dance floor elements into their current productions they create a rich blend of traditional and modern electronic danceable music.

Throughout the years the band has managed to play with well- known bands like De/Vision, Camouflage, Alphaville and Wolfsheim and have no need to fear comparison with either of them.

LAVANTGARDs latest album " Inside Out " is faithful to their emotionally charged electronic music. 100 per cent modern electronic music with a wonderfull voice and a dynamic liveshow, thats Lavantgarde.
