This is my first promo video. I directed it myself. I filmed three separate performances in three different Venues (Hot Monkey Love Cafe in La Mesa,CA - Dream Street in Ocean Beach, CA - Fat Katz in Encinitas, CA)then edited them into a video. I thought it was dull so I waited for some kind of inspiration to hit me. One day while working in a movie theater, a film was over, but the projector was still going. I liked the semi-strobe nature of the projection so I decided to film myself acting like an idiot in front of the screen. It turned out to be mostly silhouette so I added it to the video. I still thought it was dull. Finally, I decided to let my friend, Little Jen, who is an aspiring model do a bunch of gyrations and sexy leers on camera to fill in the dull spots. A few effects later and the result is my first video. |
