Biography Natary was introduced to A04 at a club through a common acquaintance. It appeared that Natary was starting a new project and was looking for a foreigner to front it. Having shifted to the role of DJ, A04 admitted that he didn't know anyone...(duh!) Such was the awkward start of SoundMine.
Nearly a year later, SoundMine had their first gig at a club in Shibuya opening for Scapesonik, who A04 had invited from Sweden to participate in Swedish Style Tokyo 2005. More than anything, that experience brought the two together as a band. In the summer of 2006, Natary and A04 put together an ep release featuring five original tracks and two remixes called Lost Within Myself. And that brings everyone up to the present, doesn't it? |
