The many currents and cultures, that have shaped dave's life continue to flow and show themselves in his music. From Jamaica to the new world to Europe to South America. Waves of influence from every culture come radiating through. His work presents an ever evolving and restless journey throughout the musical world. From the rumbling bass of reggae to the deep synthetic pulses, he has moved thousands on dancefloors across the globe. Dave's early years were spent listening, not playing an instrument; to reggae and oldies in his grandmothers home. After moving to New York in the mid 70's he was exposed to the early sounds of rap and hip hop. Then moving on to Germany, Neue Deutsche Welle and new wave became main sound in his ear. In 1986 Dave started spinning in small clubs and quickly developed a unique style of acid house, breakbeats, trance, techno and IDM. He has since played across the globe. His style evolved and is still essentially electronic but encompasses many styles and influences. The upcoming SOLITUDE EP will demonstrate just that.. Dave is an intensively versatile artist. There seems to be no limit to his musical explorations while always keeping a unique flavor that's remarkably refined and definitely his own. He can surely be categorized as a pioneer. Always evolving, always fresh....
