Biography
Ezert is an musical project, that embraces and mixes various styles, mainly industrial electronic along with some others like synth-pop, darkwave, experimental, electro and more electronic alternative styles.

Ezert is formed at late 1997, starting heavily influenced by Recoil (Ex-Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder's Project) andNIN (Trent Reznor's Project); beginning with demos in an old 4-track TASCAM analog cassette recorder, the first demos were very experimental, sometimes falling in a progressive direction, non repetitive verses and choruses, large instrumental parts, tempo-changing songs, multiple mood parts songs, real drum solos, and guitar riffs filled the early demos, initially calling this mixture of elements 'Strange-Wave' (just for the sake of it, and mainly for fun and the need to be a little more unique, if labeling was a personal choice).

From this demos, a conceptual album was formed, the result was very experimental and interesting, unfortunately the quality of recording was not the best, so it was postponed until a better studio could be afforded. 2 years later, with new technology aquired, mainly software and virtual instruments and editors, Ezert began a new era, crafting songs with the new tools made easy the recording of new demos and polished production ideas, not so limited like the original demos in the 4-track recorder.

But newer ideas started to emerge, and new songs with a less experimental approach were produced.

A new conceptual album along the new musical direction was planned, named 'Renovation', the production and singing however were postponed until other projects with higher priority were finished.

5 years later, the 'Renovation' album production is retaken.

Divided in 2 ambients or chapters, the 'Renovation' album, is a solid industrial-electronic plagued piece, the first part called: '' contains the kind of pessimist, depressed oriented mood, with lyrics about the end of dreams, what happens when we can't achieve romantic goals the 2nd ambient '' is the optimistic section of the album, filled with lyrics about motivation, endurance, faith and the essence of the concept of renovation itself.(including an allusion/tribute/homage to JesusChrist crucification and resurrection days called properly 'Resurrection', but with lyrics adapted to the context of a more personal experience in this modern days).

I have always been very fascinated by the concepts of resurrection and renovation taken to an emotional/spiritual context, the enigma that surrounds the concept of destiny, and mostly my view of the concept of END in tself, the ending of an emotion, a dream, the end of the end, what happens then, can we survive?, is there really an end? and philosphical questions like that also i cover in certain lyrics ethereal concepts like faith, and principally the endurance of our souls, our emotional limits and why a human have more mental strength than another, if we are supposed to be made the same, such inconsistencies intrigued me since i started this adventure called life, and i wanted to place my experience in feeling this emotions in a musical context.
