Evoking an eccentric blend of beats ranging from the sassiest electro ciche, the terrorist terrorcore of hell-ectro, the elegance of synthpop, the trancy audio bliss of futurepop and the hard beats of ebm dance industrial is DJ SERAPHIM. He is also known to get glitchy and grind the noise. Such blends fuel effortlessly; the packed dance floor during his sets.
DJ SERAPHIM is a current resident at the new and hot Friday night Seattle Fetish nightclub, BLACKLIGHT. He has been recently transplanted from Los Angeles where he has accumulated a seasoned history as resident and guest DJ to well known and loved clubs such as Synthcon, Absynthe, Maschine, Nightmare before Bats Day, Defkon, Wumpskate (LA's only Gothic/Industrial Roller-skating event), CODE, 01001 (if it was electronic, he played it) and Re:mix.
DJ SERAPHIM has also been opening DJ act to such artists as Conjure One, Voltaire, HMB, Ayria, Terrorfakt, Tonikom, Cervello Electronico, Psyclon9, God Module, System Syn, Informatik as well as many others including a West Coast Tour with Cylab.
"You Rock" - DJ 5arah (ElectroGroove, Tucson, Az.)
"A great lighting designer friend of mine once commented, "Most of the time, when nobody says anything about the lighting at all, that's when I know I've done my greatest work." The general gist of this is that if you're doing what you oughta, nobody comments because they came expecting the best, and got what they came for. Chris is no exception to that. His greatest strengths as a DJ are in his ability to consistently deliver fantastic sets, and read a crowd and anticipate what will keep them out on the floor. I'm always excited to see him on a bill because I know that even if the venue sucks, the drinks are watered down, and the crowd is lame, I'll still have a fantastic time." - Siobhan, Los Angeles Ca.
"Chris (Dj Seraphim) has dj'd and assisted me for and with me at the following promotions: Defkon, Sequence, Nation and Code. It is my opinion that Chris is a phenomenal Dj and a knowledgable promoter/booking agent." - Thaddaeus W. Barber, Los Angeles, Ca.
"I wanna thank YOU for being so fucking cool with us and down. It will be a HONOR for US, to have YOU. Like I said before, your a current motherfucking dj. And yes there are a lot of dj's in l.a., but none of them have balls to spin new stuff!!! Anyone can be ******, but not everyone can be you." - DJ Dredd (Club Maschine, Huntington Beach, Ca.)
"One thing i must say about chris (saraphim) is that he is very passionate about his work! He is an extremely open minded individual with a definite awareness of the evolution in the industrial/goth scene! He's not sloppy, hes not arrogant and hes very respectful. I learn alot from him. He's an extremely respectable DJ. Their arent enough DJ's like him in LA." - DJ Kruxx (Club Maschine, Huntington Beach, Ca.)
