Who is BNI? We're 3 guys(2 brothers and an adopted ecuadorian brothah) from NYC who like to hang out together and write electronic music and occasionally tour. As individuals we couldn't be more different from each other, but the one thing we do have in common is our love for Synthpop. As founding members of Joy Machine, which disbanded in 1996, Kris and Tim decided to start BNI on a whim back in 2000; eventually releasing an album, getting a little praise, an EGN award, extracating ourselves of a member and eventually settling on Victor as our equal opportunity replacement. We take a different approach altogether as most bands just have one singer, we got two and it makes for interesting live experience, interesting fights over who's going to sing what, will it be sung in english, spanglish or spanish? plus we also take our sweet ass time. Mostly because were just too damn picky for our own good, we got day jobs and spend too much time doing things above and beyond music. But when we do get together, we write songs like you are about to listen to. Enjoy.
