NO DECAY album "Retroshow" available for download.

Hello ...

Many of you might remember the band No Decay, from Germany. They were always a favourite of mine. They released two excellent albums with Synthphony records, Escape from Usual Life, and the quite excellent Supernova (which was the first ever indie synthpop CD I ever bought!) ... unfortunately, the band split up in 2000, but not before they recorded a THIRD album which never got released! The album is entitled "Retroshow", and you can download it here:

All the mp3's, plus the graphics necessary to print out your own CD cover artwork, it's all here. The stylings here are WAY more retro and analogue than on previous offerings. So go on over and have a listen ...

Also: Daniel and Markus (ex-No Decay) have now formed a new project entitled 8IGHT. Material is in the works for a debut album, and the style is a continuation of the retro analogue style introduced in "Retroshow". Among the first project of theirs is a forthcoming remix of a Wave in Head song which appears on the new WIH CD (in progress right now) ...

So, keep your ears peeled and watch out for 8IGHT ...

Makes alot of sense as well ... the band had broken up, and it appeared that Synthphony was not going to be able to release the album, so why not ... plus it's free promo for the upcoming 8IGHT project ...

Speaking of 8IGHT ... thought you'd like to know they are contributing vocals to a future SynthetiK song. I will of course post a snippet on synthetik.synthpop.fm when future events ensue.
