Default so i just saw donnie darko and...

i'd love to know which echo and the bunnymen release i should look into purchasing? i heard the killing moon a few years ago and the instant i heard it in the movie i felt shivers down my spine.

what other bunnymen material is in that vein?

and tears for fears, joy division...what a soundtrack to a riveting flick.

great flick indeed. i would suggest checking out 'songs to learn and sing'. it's a best of collection of E&TB's earlier material.

and while i'm at it...what sort of movies are similar to darko? it reminded me of the graduate...that gradual isolation from society...introversion.

Excellent movie ...too bad people didnt appreciate it. The sound track is hard to find...I love the slow cover of Tears for Fears' "Mad World".

See the film La Haine, or Hate. It's not as supernatural as darko but it has a great ending, and is sort of a coming of age, like darko.

    That movie kicks ass!!!
and Patrick Swayze is such a tool in that movie!
I just saw "The Rules of Attraction" and that movie is another instant classic! It has a very cool soundtrack with Erasure closing out the movie with "Stop".

actually it's not that hard to get a hold of. you can get it at cdbaby... that's where i bought it. very pretty, mellow instrumental soundtrack, that fits the mood of the film perfectly, imho.
