Dave is o.k...but nobody will come close to martin. For 10 years of being fan, I never seen anyone look so beauitful, Sexy and as same time genius like Martin . He write his song..from his heart and soul, I don't know how he get those sexual-insightful-word from maybe it gift from GOD. He got this angelic-voice, that it make you want to fly to his "velvet heaven" and of course the way he looks that could die for. Those Golden-floofly-hair and those bright-dreamly-greeniest-eyes that can make you melt. His boyiest-charming-face....can make me drool and his sexiest smile can make EVERYONE in this depressing world

Sure hs is goodlooking and sings very good, absolutely my fave in DM, but still he isn�t any god for me...(there are only one...two)
But I must confess that in the songs he is singing in,those are many times much better than the other ones.
But you gotta remember that Martin�s voice fits for one kinda songs, and Martin�s for another...

Joel ... while I understand your point ... if you have issues with some of the discussions in the Depeche Mode forum, I would suggest maybe not venturing into the Depeche Mode forum itself .. there is plenty of constructive feedback that you are capable of providing in the other band forums and the general forums. If people choose to come in here to discuss DM (even if it is a relatively frivelous topic) let them enjoy it in peace.

while i may agree with what joel is getting at i usually stay far far away from the depeche mode forums to avoid half the posts which are inane babble.

each band forum should have a general discussion forum where all the non music discussion goes. it's too bad Admin has to pay out the electrocredits for a flood of this stuff.

I think it's okay to "dream" about a famous person (whoever he/she is) sometimes.
But I have the feeling some people forget sometimes that a person on stage/CD/video/magazine is not the person in real life (ever heared about "marketing and image"?)
(I know this, I am a good friend of a famous singer)

I personally think that it's time for someone to wake up and realise that..
I like for myself as well to dream about a famous person, no problem at all. But I think it's gonna be scary if people can't make the difference between reality and fiction and go with it on and on and on ..........

no...(Dutchbeetle) The reason why?..I am posting and praise about Martin. It has nothing to do with me facing reality or fiction. The reason is how i feel or see what is Martin doing to me and my life. It is called "Love" or "admire" that is all i am trying to do. I am just express my feeling about Martin and how he affected my life. That is all.

and you (Dutchbeetle) shouldn't talk..about people can't facing(Reality and Fiction)....when i went to your DM.forum. All you guys talk or lust over all about Dave. Where is rest of Modemen?...what i am trying to said. If you can lust over Dave, why?..can I lust or praise about martin. Is it fair?...

i think the problem most people have with most of your (or any obessed fan...usually a DM fan) posts is the fact that they are so one-dimensional. martin is hot, martin is so sexy. you aren't really praising much about him besides his sex appeal for the majority. such discussion just doesn't help the community progress...

imean this thread was seemingly started to praise martin's 'non-looks' qualities but when we open it up you state firtsly that he's hot as hell and don't really explain why he's such a genious (and i'm not saying he isn't...he's super talented)

Well I�m don�t bother about discussions like this, but I don�t think that it�s neccessary to start more topics about Martin, while we already have one named "Martin Gore", one about his wedding, one about how great he are bla bla...

As long as we keep to one thread, then anyone can say whatever they want about his looks and however he�s a god or not.
