Default Band T-shirt designs ... who has the best?

I was just thinking and looking at the incredible Electrogarden T-shirt's that we have made and was wondering what bands out there have your favorite T-shirt designs/quality? Do you buy T-shirts mainly at shows or do you also buy them online or in stores? I have always been disappointed in the quality of most bands t-shirt material ... very thin .... (the EGN T's are thick high quality cotton by the way). I also like the T-shirts A Different Drum makes ...

Solid T designs in my opinion:
    The Electrogarden
    Depeche Mode
    Garbage
    The Cure
    Apoptygma Berzerk
    Beborn Beton
    Red Flag

    Can you name any others?

I like the Anything Box Hope Tour t-shirt.. The front shirt has a surrealist painting by Claude. I like it.

I usually love the designs on mesh t-shirts. I have the The Point At Which It Falls Apart shirt.

Of course, I also love the Onion (joke newspaper) t-shirts that say simply: Your Favorite Band Sucks.

its too bad those mesh shirts reach the point at which they fall apart rather quickly.

Heh. Nice product placement there, Craig. I mean to pick up one of those spiffy Electrogarden shirts as soon as I get paid. I mean, I can't very well be the coolest kid on my block without it, right?

One of the best quality t-shirts and designs I have seen over the years would have to be Pop Will Eat Itself (Designers Republic did the art).

I usually only get my shirts at shows but have picked up a couple online. Most of the band shirts I want, the bands haven't toured here. Luckily I have a friend in the UK that goes to a lot of shows.

Cesium 137 have a neat-as-hell shirt that has a patch of black mesh covering silkscreened lettering. Never seen anything like it.

I really dig the quality of all of my Red Flag shirts...

    Also:

Garbage (I still have my original G-Tour 2 from 1995)

Counting Crows (love all of their tour shirts I have)

All of the shirts form ADD are top notch...

I still need an EGN shirt...Damn me and my lagging on that...

I'd love to do shirts, but Alfa Matrix ain't gonna pay for them, and I'm poor. We'll see what the first sales statement from the album is like. If we sold more than 3 copies outside of Toronto, maybe I can think about shirts No point in making them if they're just gonna sit in my closet and collect dust.

    hmmm. discussion about t-shirts.
I've found that I really dig simply designed shirts. Black with White lettering, or small pics are my favorite. Don't dig shirts that get designs all over the shirt. ...hmm...does that make sense? My "The Nine" shirt is a good example.

Man, why isn't there any internet equivalent on a rimshot?!

But, to be fair, my mesh shirt's in just fine condition

I guess the band´s homepage, on concerts and different online records stores. Know that hotstuff.se got a lot of shirts with different artists/bands.

Anything Box: The "Robot Paul" blue tee is a fav.
Faith Assembly's Shades of Blue tee is a very inconspicuous design

and... I'm old school. I have almost every one of The Echoing Green's tees, including the smiley face, heart, cross tee with the old website address and the glow in the dark tv face tee. That's an awesome shirt!

oops, I take that back. the FA tee isn't very inconspicuous, it's just a really nicely designed tee without sticking out too much. If not careful I would almost mistaken it for some sort of designer tee with the 'London, USA' thing on the back.

yeah, that's what i was tryin' to say.

I haven't seen this shirt, but the very thought of it has me laughing to myself. Great stuff!

P.S. Love the edit feature to be able to fix those annoying typos.
