I have just upgrded and the sound quality seems better on playback (even If I reimport old 5.1 projects.)
This seems very odd.....
Anyone else experienced this ?

Hi;
From what I've reading on the cubase.net boards, the general consensus is that the audio engine is much better in SX. That is invariably due to the inclusion of the Nuendo audio engine in SX, so I'm not surprised!
As a mac user, I gotta wait a bit to get this great upgrade, but I guess the positive side of that is that they hopefully would erradicate some of the bugs, before the mac version is released.

That is great news on the audio quality! I can't wait to use it myself. Unfortunately, I have to wait a bit for the mac version.
If you haven't already, grab the 1.01 update, and see if that helps your dissappearing transport bar problem. That is pretty strange. Could have something to do with your graphic card maybe??
I'm actually helping someone (designing the interface) create an SX tutorial for the PC. I got a chance to install on my brother's laptop, to check out the interface. I like what I see sofar, although they seem to have changed/moved things around quite a bit. Their interface is very intuitive now, so that was a step in the right direction.

I haven't used SX yet, but I can definitely say that the Nuendo sound engine rocks. I've been an Nuendo user since it was released, and I love the thing to death. Looking forward to getting my hands on SX now.
