Thumbs up Hungry Lucy remixed by Implant sounds just great!

On the 2CD 'Cyberlab 3' there's a brand new track by Hungry Lucy, remixed by Implant, the dark triphip has made place to some very beat driven electropop, the way I like it really... it's strange to hear the band changing style so suddenly. Nevertheless, I would advise every one of you who likes Switchblade Symphony to have a listen to Hungry Lucy... and surprise surprise, also this band comes from the new label alfa matrix, they should pay me for doing this promo :-)))

bises! surtout à toi mon cher cédric!

    Arrow Implant

Implant are a favourite of mine. Their latest works bears very little resemblence to their early works on Celtic Circle. They are very much a band trying to find themselves and they are on an interesting path, to say the least. I cannot say enough good things about this duo. Some recommendations:

    Kmputor (1999)
    U.F.F. (2001)

If you are a fan of the Klinik and/or darker electro then seek out their earlier releases:

    Fun (1995)
    Hard Flesh, Soft Steel (1996)
    Brain FX (1997)

Oh, Hungry Lucy are pretty good themselves. Their debut took long enough, though! Their debut is licensed to Alfa-Matrix for distribution outside the US, it was originally released on Fishtank Soundworks in 2000 here in the States.

I have both the us and eu version and honestly the eu version sticks out, very good mastering and lovely lay-out + extra songs that are not available on the us version and don't forget the limited edition on the whole with an extra cd... Looking forward to hear their newest material.

    bisous
