Default influential albums in electronic based pop

What do you think are the most influential albums in synth based pop music?

    My list;

    1977 - Bowie: Low

1978 - Kraftwerk: Man Machine (more influential than Autobahn or Trans-Europe Express, in my opinion)

    1979 - Gary Numan: Replicas/Pleasure Principal

    1981 - Human League: Dare

    1982 - Yazoo: Upstairs At Eric's

1986 - Depeche Mode: Black Celebration
    1986 - Erasure: Wonderland

    1990 Depeche Mode: Violator

Cabaret Voltaire - Early 80's Recordings, now being reissued by Mute

and of course....KRAFTWERK - Trans Europe Express but I like Man Machine too!

Actually I think T.E.E and Computer World were the most influential Kraftwerk albums. But Man-Machine is my favorite.

Also if you have any interest in some 90's synthpop like And One, which often crosses boundaries with EBM, you have to include Deutsche Amerikanische Freundschaft "Alles ist Gut" (1981)
A lot of recognizable trends can be traced back to this album, but they did not exist before it.

John Foxx - Metamatic (1980) is also important, especially for the 90's.

I did intentionally leave off several albums because I felt they influenced the more industrial and less pop side of synth music. They were:

1979: Throbbing Gristle: 20 Jazz Funk Greats

    1984: Ministry: Twitch

1985: Cabaret Voltaire: The Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord

1987 - Skinny Puppy: Cleanse, Fold, and Manipulate
1987 - Nitzer Ebb: That Total Age (though I prefer Belief)

    1989 NIN: Pretty Hate Machine

I do need to check out more John Foxx. I have a clear vinyl 12" for the song Slow Motion when he was with Ultravox that I like, but since I was never fond of Ultravox I've always kind of ignored him. I'll make sure to check out Metamatic.

Sorry for being the "old Man" here... I 'm pushing 40.
But I can remember when it started with
Kraftwerk's Autobaun ( I remember the first time i hear it on the radio)
Then Brian Eno - Another Green World
David Bowie - Low ( which Eno helped with)
    Gary Numan - Replicas-
    laurie Anderson - o superman
To me one who help start it, but is still unknown in many circles is Frank Tovey/ Fad Gadget-- All the Fad stuff is great!!

i remember getting the Depeche Mode 12 inch from Mute- "Dreaming Of Me" -- I loved it!!

Cabaret Voltaire 's "I want you" single was fantasic too-- USA's Night flight used to playthe video it all the time--

Front 242 - Front by Front!

For older stuff that doesn't fall but does influence: Rick Wakeman, Mike Oldsfield and Alan parsons

I don't want to rename albums already stated, but I would have to add "From Here to Eternity" by Giorgio Moroder on this list.

Well I'm 35 so I'm not that far behind ya! For me as a electronic musician the albums would be different. I'd cetainly have to add Front 242: Front by Front and I remember seeing the video for Sensoria by Cabaret Voltaire on the Max Headroom hosted video show. Japan's Gentleman Take Polaroids was also another big album for me as it explained so much about where Duran Duran were getting their ideas.
