American rap icon Kanye West has visited the offices of Twitter and ditched the proposed title of his new album.

Kanye West likes to keep people on their toes. Yesterday (July 27th) the rapper visited the head office of Facebook, and decided to give workers a quick introduction to his new album. Some impromptu a cappella rhyming followed as the rapper unveiled a series of new tracks, which were quickly leaked across the internet.

The rapper is close to completing his new album, which he announced was called 'God Ass Job'. The follow up to the experimental set '808s And Heartbreak' the record is one of the most anticipated hip hop releases of the year.

In a Twitter update yesterday, though, the rapper denied that he had settled on a title. "The album is no longer called 'Good Ass Job'," he said. "I'm bouncing a couple of titles around now."

Meanwhile, the rapper also dropped by Twitter head offices to keep them up to date with the album. A renowned fan of social networking, Kanye West seems keen to let the web programmers know he is appreciating their work.

Making a sudden appearance at the Twitter HQ, Kanye West performed several new tracks. As previously reported, some have lyrics that hint at racial tension and contain allusions to the slave trade.

The staff appeared delighted with the set, with fans wondering where Kanye West will strike next. Tumblr? MySpace? The doors of ClashMusic are always open.

The rapper himself seemed delighted with the set. "Shout out to everybody at the Twitter office today," he said. "Sorry for interrupting yall lunch with my super compelling impromptu performance."

Kanye West is set to release his new album on September 13th.
