    Music Alpha Point

The project Alpha Point grew out of the synthpop/futurepop band Future Positive (line-up: Alexander Gladky aka Rush, Sergey Margasov and Dmitry Sukhov). Under this name they have shared stage with some of the biggest names in the dark electronic scene such as VNV Nation, Covenant and Combichrist.
Since the early 2009, Future Positive has been solely operated by Rush and later transformed into Alpha Point.
Alpha Point combines pulsing Futurepop beats and catchy Synthpop melodies with driving Industrial guitars. A must listen for fans of Colony 5, Assemblage 23, Neuroticfish, the early Unheilig and the like.

The second maxi-single 'High Like The Angels' is out on 05.04.2010 via the netlabel Synthematik!

    DJ Dark Cloud says:

They came to me on MySpace, I checked them out, the Alive CDM tracks had me hooked. Alpha Point has a great sound for me it's like a combination of Mesh & Colony 5.

It's always good to near new music & new artists. In my own personal opinion, it's even better to hear those unknown artists who are not signed to the major labels we all know (like DSBP Records, A Different Drum, Metropolis, Alfa-Matrix just to name a few) It just has that different feel, that fresh feel. I like fresh, I like new. I like hearing artists that I never heard of before, and I have heard a lot of them.

Few have blown me away like this, Alpha Point joins that list.

Check them out, on my "unknown" artist list, I rank them up right next to Corporate Soldiers. As my generation says here in Hawaii, "they rock my socks!"

Hi, just checked this out and it is definitely worth listening to and getting a little closer.

The quality is very good and the music has a VnV+Mesh feel to it which works for me. Thanks for the tip, heading back to listen to a bit more later today.

Yeah Alpha Point does have a great sound to it. They have even opened for well known artists we all know, such as VNV Nation. I got a good feeling about Alpha Point & I can't wait to hear more tracks by them!

Pretty cool. Defintely a Futurepop sound, thump thump synthie pump. Bet it sounds really good on a club audio system.

For some reason I could only play one track though. Maybe I'll come back later and see whats up.

Yeah, I am gonna play one of their tracks on the 15th, so it will probably sound very good on a club audio system
