    Default song id! Help!

nevermind this post, I already figured it out (old cosmicity song). I suppose I could just delete this post, but I'll leave it anyway. Why not.

    --

I taped this from a college radio synthpop show in either 96 or 97. I never found out who it was by. I tried my best to write down the lyrics.. they could be wrong in some places, and possibly not complete. The words in parentheses are words I'm not sure of.

    Does anyone recognize this?

    -----
    you say
that you know you can't hurt me
    you say i'm too strong

    you stare
at the (stripes) in the carpet
tell me things can't go wrong

(and) you (presume) you have power over my emotions
    but I - I simply don't need you

    you assume that I'm listening
    to your thoughtless words
but I can just barely hear you

    chorus:
    I won't be alone
    not this time
I won't be alone without your love

    I won't be alone
    not this time
i won't be alone without your love

you see all the tears in my eyes
and you - you say you're so sorry
you know i love the smell of your perfume
    you know it's not fair

    and you keep on explaining
what you're sure must have happened
    there is - no explanation

    just a (something something)
    (something) purist of insights
and I'll tell you my new inspiration

    chorus

talking part...(everytime I think about.. all the things you can't undo, etc)

    (instrumental part)

    I won't be alone
    I won't be alone
    I won't be alone

    chorus

    ----------

Ok, nevermind, it IS cosmicity. I guess I never ripped this cd and it's been so long since I actually listened to a cd NOT on my computer that I forgot it existed. It is now time to rip this entire album!

You are 28, you should be old enough to play your CDs and not "rip" them to your computer

What has happened to the world when the CD is becoming extinct? I feel so "vinyl"

I *can* play my cds and not rip them to my computer, but I can not put 10,000 songs or more into a random playlist on my cd player. I like doing that, it's like the radio only with all good songs. Plus, I stay organized this way.. my cds are always in alphabetical order, since I don't have to get them out every time I want to hear something. I'm lazy, I would never put them away immediately. I just haven't gotten around to ripping all the cds that I owned before I started putting everything on my computer. It's a big job. I need a new hard drive.
