Robert of backandtotheleft is currently working on a new project, but so far it seems Sooper Sekrit, so I'm not sure what he's got going on...
SD6, the band featuring Brandon Jerwa and myself, will be having a release party for Between Noise and Transmission this next Friday the 26th at the Mercury. Doors are at 9pm, admission is $0 for members between 9 and 10pm, and $5 for non-members all night long. If you'd like to come and need someone to guest you in, you can email me or post here. The album is on Tom Shear's label, 23db Records, the same one backandtotheleft started off on.
I have arranged release parties for Between Noise and Transmission around the country, to take place in the following month and a half. Those dates will hopefully be posted shortly. There have been copies arranged for giveaway purposes with your local DJ.
Towards the end of February, SD6 will also be opening for Imperative Reaction at El Corazon. I think admission is $15.00. Also on the bill is Cylab, and some other local band that I cannot remember the name of.
In Assemblage 23 news, Tom is now finished with the new A23 album Meta, and it has been uploaded to the very capable Da5id Din for mastering. That is scheduled to be released in April sometime. I've heard it, and I think fans will be very happy with it.
