Im not buying this album as it does nothing for me, others love it ..But I will stick to The Fragile...Thats the style of mesh I prefer personally...

I�ve been listening to the record for three weeks so i already made up my mind. Mesh is my favourite band, above DM. There�s only one bad thing about the new record, that of insisting on doing dull talentless dance tracks.Open up the grounds and Cash are simply vulgar. I hope they straight out their identity problems and quit making these kind of tracks.
As for the rest, just mindblowing,. Some of the tracks got this sick - tender beautiness that Mesh�s songs have. Room with a view is the best song i�ve listened in a long, long time. To me melodies are the most import thing and there isn�t anybody close to Mesh at this. As for the production i think is just OK but it has magic to make up for it.
Summing up.....WHAT A TALENT MY GOD!!!

I luuurve the new mesh! But then again, they haven't let me down yet.

Mesh just know how to write great pop songs with really thoughful lyrics. Mark's voice mixed in with that..mmm..

I already pre-ordered my copy with the DVD. It will be great to have that.

I also like the new De/Vision. I can see why people may not. I had to give it far more listens than usual to get into it. I find that with De/Vision sometimes though. In years they haven't put anything out that isn't quality but it takes time ins ome cases. (I found the same thing with Devolution)

I think I like the new mesh album better though. It's more easlily catchy. Though Breathless that De/Vision have on myspace is fantastic!

A great year for music.

I've been waiting on preordering the new Mesh to find out more about the DVD ... region free? Can I actually play it? I'll just wait until ADD has it in stock.

Colin, just buy an international DVD player. You can buy one from wal-mart for like $75 so why not? That way you never have to worry again. I can tell you what model to get if you'd like.

I'm not sure if the new mesh will be released in the US so that's why I said screw it and ordered from mns.com

With regards to the DVD, Region wise if it is region free (which I expect it will be) it will play on anything, if it is Region 2 (which I dont't think it is), US people will need a multi-region DVD player or DVD-ROM drive.
As for the PAL/NTSC thing, this to do with the colour encoding, lines on the screen and refresh rate. PAL is the system TV uses here in the UK, NTSC in the US. Most modern DVD players, TVs and pretty much all computers can play either.

Okay, one more question and I promise I'm done - what service would you suggest I order the album/single from to ensure the best combination of price and shipping speed? For instance, when VNV's "Futureperfect" came out, I ordered it from Music Non-Stop and the shipping took so long that I only got it a couple of days before the domestic release, thus negating the advantage of ordering the import. If the shipping is going to take forever, it might be more advantageous for me to buy it through an American distributor selling it as an import.
