EGN wasn't like this in the beginning. It took a while to build. Give these other sites a chance to grow.

Forum looks great, Kirlian! Love it. Can't wait to see it in action. I have to agree with most: Leaps and bounds over Synthpop. And I also agree about the Synthpop name. Not that I don't enjoy my share of Erasure, etc... but "Synthpop" itself is just so limiting. That was one of my complaints with EGN. It's too narrow. There are millions of great artists out there that aren't remotely synthpop but appeal to those who like that genre... Hell, I've got the Beatles, Marilyn Manson, and Pet Shop Boys in my car right now for starters. =) See you all at KMA!

If synthpop.net is going to be strictly Synthpop music, I will not be there. I would get so sick of hearing about same six bands over and over again. Long live Electronic music, down with Synthpop and Electroclash.

I'm really excited to hear about KMA forum's! It's really looking likely that 2004 is going to be a banner year for KMA Records, with the compilation album/new signings/forum/possible magazine too ;-)

I said it was on the darker side, aesthetically, mainly in reference to an earlier post that indicated a liking for the darker atmosphere (i.e. look) of EGN. It had nothing to do with subject matter. I don't advertise that it contains darker content. All I said was that it was on the darker side, aesthetically. It's not being "advertised" as being on the darker side, in terms of content. It's really just a scurry of random things.
