There shouldn't be any over use because you've been 'needing' to say it instead of some stars. I'm all for KMA!

Kirlian, It looks good enough to fill the emptyness when EGN goes down. Thanks.

    (Screw synthpop.net )

LOL : its the happy white synthpop.net , or the dark and sinister KMA site.

Its not just features versus performance, Its become a good vs evil thing.

I will subscibe to both and use KMA to argue tooth and nail with pop, and synthpop.net to laught it up with Electroswank and Cliffwalk.

I'll hang around both forums. I guess I'll go for KMA because synthpop.net doesn't have an Alphaville-forum!!!

I'll be going over to KMA, if they'll have me.
I signed up for synthpop.net, but browsed around, and.... Ummm. No thanks.

That's a shame, Jamie. Synthpop.NET has sat nearly dormant for the two plus years that EGN has been growing.... BUT, it has some really cool people behind it. It's also about as unbiased as it gets and would likely add forums to accommodate.

I think we're all too concerned about fragmentation in this scene when we should be afraid of yet another centralized power. I too am looking forward to KMA but maybe we all need to take advantage of EGN's demise to help the owners of Slothradio and Synthpop.NET develop their communities.

It takes a userbase to develop an online community. I assure you that the KMA site wont feel comfortable right off the bat. It takes time to settle into anything... maybe since we're all adjusting we should adjust to a larger community of sites...

Diffuse this from being a balance of power thing to a displacement of power.

I'm beginning to get that too...You know with all due respect to those with a tendancy to curse, I find the EGN's use of an asterix instead of foul language very on-point...It's very refined of them, and I think thats part of the class in this place...

There's a reason for that. The look is visually very uninviting. Sure, the people behind it are cool, but first impressions are everything, and it looks too stale grey and cold...

I'll be over at KMA, I like the way it looks.

sunthpop.net should just steall the html source code from here before i cgoes down and just outfit it accordingly! lol

synthpop.net does have that kinda shameful blow towards egn going down due to financial stuff...so that might trn ppl away at first cuz it even surprised me when i checked it out.

but it also seems that admin there is really trying to take advantage of this whole situation here! it very very entertaining to see all this happen...

i think both kma and synthpop.net should be frequented as to increase the likely hood of finding a new alt. who know synthpop.net could turn out nice if tadmin took our advice and suggestions seriously and did things to improve it based on what we were all so accustomed to here....

and im sure that admin at synthpop.net are checking out the threads here to get a better sense of what to do to accomidate our needs and wishes...therefore im taking advantage of it.

    the battle has begun.

Synthpop.Net has some nice content but alienated itself withthe name and look. Im not being funny but if you said you liked synthpop in the UK. People will laugh at you, Synthpop has a very bad rep so haveing the term synthpop is a not going to make a forum busy.

It's remind me of a Funeral Services Webite some good info but its a slight bit dull! People wnat image and quality content you have to have both and the EGN did!!
