    Exclamation Earthquake!

Anyone else feel the earthquake that shook enough of California that it really shook me in Foster City (San Francisco Bay Area) and apparently it was felt in LA. It felt like the biggest quake I've been through since the '89 World Series quake. Here's a link http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...429EST0078.DTL and it's apparently a 6.5.

I was on the e-mail with a colleague in Oakland when it hit...very odd indeed! Hope all Bay Area EGNrs are doing OK, esp. Zoe?

Like most quakes where it's felt is somewhat random. The local morning newscasts didn't mention the quake until twenty minutes after it happened (which was while they were on air) and my family further south in San Jose didn't feel a thing while my wife was working further north in the east bay felt it but less so. The fortunately the epicenter was in a fairly rural area, so damage has been minimal. The real impressive thing about the quake is it's range, since I tend to think of them as more localized.
I've been out shopping since then and I only overheard one person talking about the quake. Ah, to be a Californian, we're shaken not stirred.

Yepers it got a little shaky here too...Nothing fell over, no damage, and we're all fine too...I hope the same goes for everyone else here in California
