Is that what they kill to make the fabric? Are they naturally like that or really mutations? They don't look too happy..

Angora rabbits are not only a source of enjoyment and quiet company, they are also the source of a wool that is incredibly soft and warm. Handspun into a durable yarn, it is eight times warmer than sheep wool, and so light it provides warmth without weight. Angora wool is continuously renewed and gently harvested during the rabbits natural molting process; thus, the Angora rabbit need never be harmed for it's wool

its natural, but only in the color white...everything off color is the result of cross breeding...so yeah like a mutation.

Yikes...I wonder how they can see through all that fur. Also looks like they don't move around much. I would get a strange urge to shear those critters.

I wonder if, due to a lack of light, their eyes have become small and beady... or even no eyes at all

Those pics reminded me of those toys a few years ago that the kids were playing with. It was a talking robot that chirped. Not Pokemon, Damn I cant remember the name. They looked like Gizmo from the Gremlins movie. If you told them to go to sleep they would. Damn does anyone know what they were.

i used to have an angora bunny named mookie she was the coolest! she was like a lap dog! she went potty in the litterbox and she hopped on over when you called her name. trouble with them... very high maintenance with their fur. you have to have them shaved every few months and brush them often because their fur gets sooooo long and matted.

mookie was given to me by a firend and died very suddenly and for no appearant reason. i was very sad she was a very sweet animal

no it does come naturally, but only in white. any other color his the result of hybridiziing. and of course they groom thos eparticular rabbits in the pics. not like their coats are naturally that exotic.
