    Question Perfect Day?

Just curious, my friends...if you had your druthers--what would your perfect day look like? What would you do? Who would be there? Get this party started, and I'll join in!

This is a bit frightening...I particularly worry about responses from Kirilian and Slippy...but, have at it!

Ah a perfect day for me would be to wake up fully refreshed and have no worries about anything. Then a party with all the EGN'ers would be fun.

My perfect day would involve waking up bright eyed, and rolling over to stare at the woman I was madly in love with waiting for her to open her eyes half-asleep, smile, and whisper good morning...I miss that...

From there it's fun in the sun SoCal style at the beach!!! Hitting the surf, walking along the sand, just taking in the ocean, it's my favorite place to be...Make some calls, invite all of my friends and end up staying the duration of the day and making a bonfire party out of it with everyone I know...

    Now thats bliss for me

That was rather simple, Jup. I'll spare you the details.

No, by all means, include the details, Vic!

Beyond the obvious, for me, at any rate...beyond sailing on the Drum, clothes shopping at Versace in Milan with Roselyn Sanchez, philosophical discussions with Martin Fry and Simon LeBon, I'd love to have all my EGN friends up to my spectacular London flat on Christmas to give each a present...

For example, a Harrod's certificate for Vic
Keys to a Latex factory for Kirilian
An Aston Martin for Sevn Red Seven...
John Taylor's Bum imprint for Amy..

You get the picture--at any rate, this is just the intro to a wonderful new holiday thread coming to you in November!

Huntington Beach, 7 AM, 72 degrees and sunny. Surfing all morning, run over to Jack in the box on Main and PCH for lunch, take a stroll down the Pier, watch the skateboarders, kick back on the sand, watch the sun set...

I would wake up bright and early- wide awake- ready to face the day- my and my group of best friend's would go to a theme park, ride every ride- no lines- afterwards we'd go somewhere casual for lunch, then we'd go shopping somewhere and at night we'd go somewhere fancy for dinner and later hit the beach. Afterwards we'd go back to my place and watch a movie.

Depeche Mode release a new album which marks Alan Wilder's return. The Album is a return to their roots. No guitars used on the album at all.

They announce that they'll be touring with Camouflage and De/vision as opening acts and that Vince Clarke is going to join them on stage to perform a few of the Speak and Spell tracks.

Thank you for the Harrod's voucher! I can barely afford Top Shop, so this will be lovely.

The details: Well, I would like to meet him after a gig (just saw him at the Astoria in London last month) and perhaps go back to the Ritz or the Savoy with him (if he wasn't already married to the lovely Gemma, of course). Since a day is 24 hours and this scenerio obviously wouldn't start until evening at the gig, mine would extend through the next day. For some reason, it would actually involve record shopping with Gary in Camden and a nice supper at the Cafe Royal or Tiddy Dols. But, supper and record shopping don't necessarily fill a whole day, so it's anyone's guesse what occurs at the hotel. And, knowing me, well, it could make the tabloids...
