    Default New Human League Single!!!

Human League are to release another single from "Secrets" for the track "Love Me Madly?"...I can't tell you how excited I am about this!! If you haven't heard this LP, you don't know WHAT you're missing, and I love this song!! I really hope they do a video for it. I loved the video for "All I Ever Wanted". I'm an analog synth junkie, so listening to "Secrets" is just pure bliss for me. Definitely go out and get this. It's released in December and more information can be found on the main EGN page.

Just wanted to give the band their props on this one.

I wish there was more info, like who this mysterious fan is who is remixing it. Either way its great news. Better than earlier reports when Phil was talking about disbanding because of being unhappy with the sales for Secrets. The album seems to keep taking on more life as the years pass by.

I really dig the song too, so I'm happy to see it getting a release.
I did some hunting and found EGNer Orac's League site with a blurb about it at http://www.league-online.com/news.html :

Belated release for 'Love Me Madly' - Updated

One of Secret's finest tracks finally gets a release on CD maxi single and 12" vinyl thanks to Dutch producer 'Voice Of Buddha' and his record label Nukove Records.
The producer announced the news this morning in the forum after many months of negotiations with Chrysalis who own the rights to Secrets.

: I'm a bit surprised that Orac hasn't dropped by to say anything about it yet.

Ahhhhhahahahha...Human League just played at a casino near my house here in Las Vegas. Animotion was the opening act. I didn't go see it but I thought it was pretty funny that 80's bands are now doing the Vegas thing.

Is there anywhere that offers any real player or windows media streaming of tracks from "Secrets" to preview it?

DJR - Richard X or Secrets?
I don't have "Secrets" but let me say the Richard X is HOTTTT (yes, 4 T's)! Definately one to pick up. I love it!

I'd like to hear some samples from the Human League before I order it tho... any suggestions?

Maybe they'll add some of the mixes of "You'll Be Sorry" which was only released as a rare Canadian promo... That would be nice to hear....

This is very exciting news indeed, as 'Love Me Madly?' was THE stand out track from 'Secrets'. I wonder is it going to be a new version or the album version itself? Does anyone know ........

Also, will there be new B-sides or maybe a few live tracks from their recent tours?

I was really disappointed that Secrets didn't get more attention. I felt that it was a phenomenal album and ranked right up there with their earlier work.i have a friend that is a dj at a gay cowboy bar in dallas that has a night that they play dance music and i talked him into playing one of the "all i ever wanted" remixes and it went over SOOO well...patrons and the bartenders were scrambling to find out what it was...i've never seen trick cards used for writing down a song title before...hahaha...anyway...i look forward to this new single.. the league have been one of my absolute favs since i was about 8...

It actually did get a lot of attention over here in the EU. They appeared on ''Top of The Pops'' and were also interviewed in all the cool/trendy music mags too, but many of the reviews rated the album a ''1 star out of Five'' release, although there were some exceptions and then with their record label going under a year after it was released, the funds just didn't seem there to push it anymore or follow up on their promise of a second single release, as the reaction to it was so poor.

'SECRETS' IS A FANTASTIC ALBUM AND ACTUALLY DID OKAY IN THE UK. I AM NOT GOING TO WATCH THEIR FORTHCOMING TOUR THOUGH, AS THEY IGNORE CREDABILITY FOR POPULARITY AND IGNORE THEIR BEST MATERIAL.
