Thread: Bands you wish made one more album.

Default Bands you wish made one more album.

Some bands stay around forever and never go away while some bands make a couple of albums and are gone. Which band do you wish made one more album before they disappeared.

For me: Yaz and The Smiths.

They're not synthpop, but I wish Quarterflash had done a few more albums. OK, so I'm really showing my age here...

Hey Dan, you wrote the same list that I thought! hahahhaha

I only replace The Twins for Secret Society, The Voice In Fashion and Index (Canadian band, not the german!).

Ahh! will be great if Joy Machine release his unique album too.

I completely agree with Jupiter 4, but I would also add Visage.

There are bands I wish would do another album, but I'm afraid what they might sound like. For most of them, if they could guarentee it would sound somewhat similar to their older stuff then that would be cool.

    My list:
    A reunited Gene Loves Jezebel
    A reunited DM
Cetu Javu (actually they could release 10 new albums and that wouldn't be enough)
Vision System (ok, I know that they are about to)
Children Within (I can't believe they stopped after that killer 2nd album)
    A Second Sight
and last but not least, TALK TALK!!!!!
C'mon Mark, get the boys together, keep the drugs out of the room and give us one more.

PLEASE NO MORE \"I am a robot music.\" You are not a robot. Learn to program better like human beings.\"

Electro is House music. If you don\'t like House music, please don\'t put down Electro, because it is trendy to say it. It might suprise you that Electro and House music were invented by Gay Black Americans in the mid 80s. They weren\'t invented by the beatless people who like to coin new trendy phrases.

I am so tired of \"I want to be Depeche Mode or Erasure for the last 25 years.\" I hope I am not the only one. 25 years is a quarter of century and about a 1/3 of human life. If a person spends a 1/3 of his or her life having the same tastes, I don\'t know if that person acquired enough information to have an interesting life or has a problem understanding he or she is no longer a teenager.

So called artists who never change, why do you call yourself an artist again?

to the person who said Joy Division... why torture yourself even dreaming about that? sheesh...

    i'd say:

Children Within (i'd like this as a personal birthday present)
Distain! (i'm surprised this isn't released already)
Seven Red Seven (uhhh.. i think its unanimous that we want one)
U-N-I (this is a project with members of Provision)
Except Europa (a first album would've been nice...)
Cyberaktif (at this point i'm not sure how good it would be but i'd still like to hear it)
Skinny Puppy (yeah i think they still have it)
Screaming Trees (not synthpop but i was sad when they broke up)
Tattletale (this will never happen.. but i can dream)
Bikini Kill (ehh.. i dont really want this to happen because it probably wouldnt be any good but if it were to be good i'd like to hear it)
Madball (we need more Madball... oh yeah)
Snapcase (but only if they go back to their Progression sound)

    i could go on...
