Default We are the World (synth version)

Another thread maybe think of this. Wouldn't it be cool if the Synth community got together and made a 'We are the world' / "Do they know it's Christmas" type of record? Where singers from all different synth bands would get togther and lend their voice to the recording? Here's the list of singer's I think would be great to hear together. Whats yours?

    David Gahan
    Martin Gore
    Steffen (De/vision)
    Marcus Meyn (Camouflage)
    Mesh Singer (forget his name)
    Andy Bell
    Alison Moyet
    Reagan Jones (Iris)
    Claude S (Anything Box)
    Mark Nicholes (Cosmicity)
    Brian Hazard (Color Theory)
    Susanne Ottoviano (Book of Love)
    Joey B (Echoing Green)

And eveyone from EGN for the big Chorus at the end.

Well, Simon Le Bon, Tony Hadley, Midge Ure...and Nick on the keys, methinks. I also think that Obie should do a solo somewhere in the middle. Don't forget Pop and KB in there, too. Have Marion sing an aria!

No. I really don't think it would be a good idea.

    NJ... Dear, sweet NJ.
    NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Don't you remember just how terribly annoying that chorus got about three months after listening to it repeatedly on the radio, at home on the turntable or in the tape deck, and in the music video???
Now, an original holiday anthem might be worth a listen!

LOL. I didnt mean the song "We are the World" specifcally, I cant stand it either! I meant an orginal song performed by a bunch singers from the synth-pop scene together.

but, since you asked for it...

    *clears throat*

"WE ARE THE WORLD.....WE ARE THE CHILDREN..."
