Default Your Favorite Albums on Rainy Days

As the season changes so does my mood for certain types of music - especially on rainy days. What are some of your favorite albums you listen to on cloudy/rainy days?

Here are a few of my favs:

    1. Cocteau Twins - Treasure
    2. Biosphere - Patashnik
    3. Harold Budd - Lovely Thunder
    4. Harold Budd - The White Arcades
    5. The Moon And The Melodies
    6. The Legendary Pink Dots - The Lovers
    7. Dead Can Dance - Aion
    8. David Sylvian - Secrets of The Beehive
    9. David Sylvian - Gone To Earth
    10. Brian Eno - Music For Airports

heheh, this could almost be an endless list but I'll stop here.

Can't say that I listen to any particular thing on rainy days, but I always listen to Terrorfakt when vaccuming.

Actually, most of the music I like is a bit "gloomy" and suited for rainy days. Side-effect of living in California.

PLEASE NO MORE \"I am a robot music.\" You are not a robot. Learn to program better like human beings.\"

Electro is House music. If you don\'t like House music, please don\'t put down Electro, because it is trendy to say it. It might suprise you that Electro and House music were invented by Gay Black Americans in the mid 80s. They weren\'t invented by the beatless people who like to coin new trendy phrases.

I am so tired of \"I want to be Depeche Mode or Erasure for the last 25 years.\" I hope I am not the only one. 25 years is a quarter of century and about a 1/3 of human life. If a person spends a 1/3 of his or her life having the same tastes, I don\'t know if that person acquired enough information to have an interesting life or has a problem understanding he or she is no longer a teenager.

So called artists who never change, why do you call yourself an artist again?

Whenever the first rains arrive in Autumn/Winter, I always go look for old Marc Almond stuff back from the Marc & The Mambas period (both "Torment and Toreros" and "Untitled"), or from Jacques or Absinthe. I'll play these CDs a lot during this period and after a couple of weeks I'll be back to my standard music listening patterns.

    Default Rainy days and JMJ

Weather doesn't dictate my mood that much. I still listen to what I usually do, other than putting on a Jean-Michel Jarre or Synergy album, perhaps.

Speaking of which: I've been wanting to know something about JMJ. How does he pronounce his last name: "zharr" or "zhar-AY"? Is the "e" silent or accented? Help from some of you fellow synth instrumental fans would be much appreciated.
