new NON futurepop bands

for all of you who have enough of this future pop crap all over europe and search for good new stuff ... here are some bands you should know :

c o i n s i d e - visit the homepage of this labelless band at www.coinside.de their style is unique and can describe with "martial electro"

p a i n b a s t a r d ... a new oldschool electro touched one man band. sometimes it sounds like le�ther strip or very old hocico.

i can't post the link cause it was censored in the preview and so it doesn't work. so type the name of the band without the spaces and add .de

please post what you're think about this two great bands

ugh...I'll stick with futurepop.

This kind of stuff makes me a bit queasy, I listened to a couple of the "Coinside" mp3's. Love the name, despise the sound/vocals.

Just my opinion, of course. I'm entitled, right?

Painbast*rd is actually quite good. Sort of melodic harsh electro industrial type stuff. Recommended!

wow i checked this stuff out and thought it was absolute crap!
i havent heard music this stupid since i listened to a band called alunared.

Hey Tino,

I'll have to check out those bands. Sounds like my kind of music... Unfortunately, my PC at home doesn't work at the mo, and I don't think I should test them out in the office....

But here's another tip (might not be sooo new, though): GRENDEL! Love those guyz. The 'End of Ages-EP' is 'ein Brett'!!!!

I bought the Pain�� cd. I don't like the name, but most band names are stupid. What would you have thought when Skinny Puppy came out? Pain�� is pretty good. I can't believe the pop people don't like it. I feel like a nancy listening to it myself. Oh well. Some pretty snotty responses, which I thought was hilarious, considering they came from people who like VNV.

the thing is, that the name really kicks. nobody knows what behind and that is very good !

okay - i never ever will force someone to listen to music. we are all openminded and so ... covenant is a good band !

i know that the vocals from coinside are not the softest in the business *lol* ... if you like the vovals you like the music - if not ... not !

Sometimes, when I go thru some bands on mp3.com I actually check out some of the bands with bizzarre names. Can't recall any right now, but some are totally weird, and I just have to give them a chance due to their name. So I will check out these bands. From what I've heard from you, this isn't really a big hit, but I might as well give it a listen. Will tell you when I've made my judgement...

i listned to the samples i thought they were pretty good,not my cup of tea.
oh by the way fembot i happened to be a foemer member of alunared even though i try to avoid promoting my current band wich is a future pop band.
i resent you refer to my former bands music as crap.
you see hon theres a big difference between listening to music and making it.even if you dont like it dosent mean its crap
furthemore seeing as how i happen to be in one of your favorite current bands ,maybe you should realise that real artists have many different facets to thier musical personalities.
i dont care what genre it is if its good its good and you know what its all just personal taste in the end.cant we all just get along

I was at The Castle (goth/industrial club in Tampa) the night VNV Nation was guess DJing and the primary DJ Tom did play Pain��. As for Coinside, I've yet to hear it but I'll look around for some samples. Thankyou for the suggestions.
