No More re-recorded their classic „Suicide Commando“ for the digital mixtape „The Return Of The German Angst“ and release a new video.

The video was shot in New York City & Berlin and it’s cool hi-speed look-and-feel underlines the essence of the new version of the 32 year old classic.

THE RETURN OF THE GERMAN ANGST is an ecclectic-electric mixtape where „buddy“ bands, DJs and producers as well as the band itself tackle, among others, the songs of the last album „Sisyphus.“

Contributors:
With his „All is well – Senza Macchia“ remake, the Polish DJ SZUM sends the dark and minimal „Sisyphus“ opener into the nuthouse.

The French Dirtypop/Weird-Wave duo Velvet Condom traces with their mix of „Take Me To Yours“ the electro-groove of the early 80s.

On the other hand, baze.djunkiii, who combines the Acid House of the late 80s with the Rave spirit of the 90s, and Herr Brandt, founding member of The Convent, are with their Minimal NuBeat version of „123456789“ smack in middle of here and now.

„Desperate Living“ is a joint venture by NO MORE and Psyche.
Psyche are surely the most popular Electro-Pop duo from Canada and have stylically effected both EBM and Synthpop.
This is certainly for both bands an atypical song, which come across as almost punky.

Manoush, the actress, singer - and New Yorker by choice - (feat. Obee), contributes from her archive a previously unpublished version of „Suicide Commando“ : rough and blunt.

NO MORE became known through the genre-busting indie-classic „Suicide Commando“, a title that since its appearance in 1981 has not only been included in numerous compilations but was also placed again and again in the limelight in remixes by DJ Hell, Vitalic and Echopark.
