I really like Colony 5...i would recommend their album to anyone that is a fan of future pop, etc...

Colony 5 synth? Colony 5 futurepop? I don't know what to call anything any more. Can't wait to get their new album though.

..for me COLONY are a perfect mix of DEPECHE MODE sound futurepop and darkwave..

BLACK is great.. i have never listen a song so exciting :)

it's an happy/darkwave.. happy because it's a ballad for the dancefloor.. not a Xymoxstyle that is too dark but great also!

black eyeeeees black liiiiiiiips black naiiiiiiiils... the lyric begin... but i don't understand more.. someone can help me please?

I tried to find lyrics not so long ago.
You can find the lyrics of the 1st album on it's cover.
But I hate reading from it, I prefer reading lyrics from the computer's screen... ;) & I don't have the new original CD yet (soon... :)).

I know (from the video clip) that they are singing:
"Black eyes
Black lips
Black nails
We are dancing a slow dance"

Another row... :D It's difficult to understand the rest of it... a word here, a row there...

(And the singer is a real good looking guy :o ;))

they are great...but theres lyrics are still really bad...
they need work on the writing..then they would be perfect.

It's a real problem.. elaborate electronic music with lyrics.. if we think to Depeche Mode 81/82.. lyrics r "stripped" :D

..but i think that in many cases, the fantastic perfomances of the musik r most important.. lyrics often r only an outline

DM lyrics on "A Broken Frame" are great! I love them... (Satellite, Leave In Silence, etc...)
C5 should try to write better lyrics, that's true.

Speak & Spell is a funny album, I agree... Vince's lyrics are quite stupid. Since Martin (& Alan)- GREAT (I'm not talking about "Breathe" ;)).

Im still in love with Colony 5's song "liquid love." They are currently one of my fav in that genre.

"Liquid Love" is my favourite! :D
I was disappointed because I thought the lyrics are romantic... & then I found out that it is about a drunk one-night-stand. Naive, or what? ;)
