After the success of the last convention, Black Celebration, a DM tribute band are doing another on 24th August (Bank Holiday Sunday) at The Limelight Club in Crewe, England.
They kick off around 4ish with a 2 hour 'Early Mode' set with a couple of Solo songs.
'One Night In Paris' follows on a giant screen, pumped out through the club's system.
They then do another 2 hour set of later Mode stuff including B-sides and album tracks.
Catch a live version of Stripped at www.johnkc.btinternet.co.uk/blackcelebrationstripped.mp3

Find them at www.blackcelebration.net and join the forum. Also details of where to stay on the site.

Oh someone from my beloved Manchester logged in to EGN... :D When I was living there, there were no dm parties... :( So, puppetmode, I hope it'll be more than a party!!!!

Does Limelight feature a lot of synth or just occationally?

Good to know fellow Mode fans originate from Manchester. After all it is the centre of the world when it comes to music.

8 hours might have been exagerating a bit but definately over 6.
You can come and go as you please with the band split up by One Night In Paris and food available.
Is it possible to have too much DM?

Oh to be in England, in summertime, with my love, close to the edge
