I like this song quite a bit. But seeing as I am a big BNI/Heireth Bros fan, that probably doesn't surprise anyone.

Wait ... I think this could be the EGN theme song ...

Friends, you ARE losers if you don't check out this track immediately... it is an Indie Anthem.

Sort of a 2003 version of Ani DiFranco's "Million you never made".

Great job guys. Absolutely hilarious and really well produced.

This is a great track, it's a lot of fun to dance to and its' ballsy!

I think they're planning an official release of this track in Maxi Single form with a wicked set of remixes :) I am sure there is more info on thier site: http://www.brandnewidol.com

Update on my previous post, "Better Than You" is coming out independantly... They plan to have it available on their online shop (coming soon) :)

Thank you all for the kind words!

As Anna said, we are planning on self-releasing this song as our first official single as a fully pressed maxi cd. The remixers we have lined up for the project are... let's just say, The S.hit! But we'll fill you in on all those details later. Anna is busy slaving over our website redesign, which I have to say is just about the coolest thing ever. There is going to be so much to do and see, including as she said, our own online store that will offer cds, t-shirts, stickers and all sorts of other stuff. Stay tuned for more details soon.

I"m very proud / ecstatic / overly emotional to say that it looks like the first CD release for this song is going to be on the next Shadowplay compilation release "Methods of Compulsion". Tim and I have been in contact, and it appears that this is a go! (hoping he doesn't change his mind and make me look like an ass for posting this!

So watch for and August release timeframe, and pick up your own copy of "Better then you"!
