Hello Electrogarden,

Aidan Casserly from Empire State Human posting. We've been away for a while ... the last 6 months we released two digital albums with Ninthwave Records "Popularity?" a best of and "Rarity?" a rare tracks set. Currently we're recording a brand new studio album called "Audio Gothic".

Here's a News item we sent out recently ....


Some very exciting news from the re-emerging world of Ireland's longest running electro-pop band Empire State Human. Whilst work continues on our SIXTH proper studio album in six years ("Audio Gothic") we can confirm we are to open for the legendary electro act The Grid on April 5th, when The Grid play Dublin as part of a few select live dates to promote their new album "Doppelganger" which is out end of March on Some Bizzare. The Grid are of course Dave Ball (Soft Cell) and Richard Norris. The support acts for the few UK dates they are playing at members of THE ORB and ORBITAL, so it's excellent company to be involved in. ESH will perform a number of new tracks from the next studio album "Audio Gothic".

Continueing our exciting news, we'd like to confirm that we will be working with ex-Kraftwerk legend Wolfgang Flur. The 'Wolf' is to join us on a track we're recording for our new studio album.

Hello to all!
Thanks for the positive replies ... yes, we are re-launching the band this year and into next.
People seemed to miss us since the last studio album (2005). I was working with The Garland Cult and my solo project of Figaro and have more recording committments for my acoustic Aidan Casserly album.

Basically we're very happy to be recording new material. I don't think the old ESH artist page is here still, or at least I couldn't find it if it was. I will add one soon and put up tracks from our last studio album "Cycles" (2005).
This seems to be a very positive place to hang out .. too many forums are way too negative and unsupportive these days that I find myself drifting from them.

I may have to get that one closed and start again .. I don't have passwords or anything to update it ... I've asked for a new membership ....

There is already a Garland Cult account on the new system, I am assuming that you created that a while ago so if you forgot the password for that I can reset that for you too.

That original ESH page that Nautilus has the link for and a couple hunderd others from the old music system we do not make changes to anymore in lieu of the new profiles system on the site.

Hello from here, too. Great to see you back on here. Wanted to let you know Synthpopalooza Radio is coming back, and there will be lots of ESH in the rotation. The Popularity album is absolutely top-notch, and it brought back a lot of memories. Not to forget your Garland Cult and Figaro projects as well!

I sent Vicky an email asking for help posting twon new ESH tracks from next studio album. Download links to mp3s included ... hopefully they'll arrive at EG soon. Bobby ... thanx as always for your continued support and help - much appreciated! The best of is indeed a trip down memory lane ... so much so, we've re-recorded a number of early ESH tracks for inclusion in our live set .. these tracks are "Leap Of Faith", "Hand On The Gun", "Five Years" (Bowie cover), "I Work For The Government" and "Apollo" .....

Hi I uploaded the 2 songs. I really like Camera :)
There actually was a problem on our end that we fixed so things should be ok now. You can go in and change the genre, add an image for the songs, lyrics or whatever you like now too.

"Camera" is my wife's favourite too ... mine is "Audio Gothic" ... thanx for helping out. Glad to hear there was a problem and I wasn't go mental my end!
