Anyone-else hear like Electric Six? I can't remember the last time I heard a band that has had the same effect on my ears. I think they are just sublime and grabbed my attention from the off with their first single Danger! High Voltage.

I've just pre-ordered their album after listening to the samples on Amazon.co.uk, I am really looking forward to this. I've heard the music described as guitar-driven disco, which is such an off-beat description but also seems to perfectly fit this music.

I have this full length CD and love it! (Best Buy $9.99)...

It is totally based on disco-rock. A disco version of Interpol LOL! The vocalist has a great delivery style which sounds & reminds me at times of TOM JONES without the risk of coming across as campy or corny.

It's hilarious. And the song is damn catchy.

That video is pretty hilarious. I love the Danger High Voltage! clip too. The woman in it is SO over the top. I love her unbridled enthusiasm. She's like a Rocky Horror character.

The vid was a good laugh! Bush and Blair and their antics! Here, in the UK, they were calling our PM Blush for some time! Blair + Bush = Blush!

I've only heard the "Danger! (High Voltage)" single, and it's got to be one of the best rock songs of this decade. There's an LRD remix of the song (Thin White Duke Mix) that is top notch as well.
