Why can't I get these two Russian lesbos out of my head? I mean... i admire them for being as electronic & catchy as they are... but they have to be some of the most plastic of popstars. Who am I to complain tho... I like Zeromancer and Apoptygma Berzerk.

Did anyone else see teh MTV movie awards and the 100 schoolgirls in panties dancing to tatu? Heh... twas dope.

The army of girls was madness. Half of them looked like they might have been 12 or 13. But then there was a group that looked like they were pro strippers or something. Made me feel dirty watching it.

I dug it...The only drawback for me was the fact that the backing vocals were completely lip synced and not very good either...Other than that, it was a good performance and a lot of fun to watch ;)

It was definitely ... interesting ... to say the least. I know this sounds crazy (stay with me here), but I loved every minute of it. I thought the brown headed chick was adorable. Her voice is really cool too. I bet if I bought the album I'd dig it. Not saying I would, But they appear different and her voice was cool. Commercialized, yes, but I'm over the whole "that band is so commercialized" stance! heee!

So I listened to most of the album... and I really only like the two singles. Not Gonna Get Us and All the Things She Said.

Maybe it needs another listen... but those two songs stand out by far from the rest of the much slower album. doh

Some people think they sing better in their native tongue so you might wanna get their Russian album.

Regardless what people say about T.A.T.U, I'm digging them and certainly applauded their boldness by standing & fighting for what they believe in......... You go girls! Cheers......

ya soshla s uma (i went ballistic) was the first hit off TATU to be heard... and indeed russian version sounds more "optimistic" than it's english mirror :)

silly, but now they're more popular than the Beatles and The Matrix!!

For me, it's about the music only. I'm not interested in the image or the controversy (although the fuss over both drew me in). If they keep making good music, then I'll probably still buy it.

Did anyone happen to see their performance on MTV MOVIE AWARDS 2003? Tons of chicks wearing school-girl uniform and dancing to "Not Gonna Get Us." And at the end they're throwing all the shirts off and then there're only tank tops and mini skirts..... Hmmmhhh........ I think they are fun..so their lyrics are super profound, they are a lot of fun and I liked their newest cd....i also appreciate that they are unapologetically queer (unless it's just a marketing ploy)... if you like something a little light and bouncy for your cd player sometimes, than i would recommend it....i mean..i'm into so pretty intense, angry stuff, but it's nice to have something that makes me grin!
