So untill now, it's just useless waste of space .... is there anybody who can help me to get my greedy hands on those disks....

I doesn't has to be for free, We can always find something out !

Hi there !

Welcome to the mighty mirage. There are only two diskss you will need :

1) The Formatiing disk (for Standard operating system)
2) The MASOS system disk (for advanced operation)

I will copy the disks and post them out to you if you want. contact me at arron@8inf.com with your address. I might take me a couple of weeks to get round to it though, as I am really snowed under right now.

The mirage is a unique and ace sampler. 8 bit interpolated samples, analogue SEM filters. The closest thing to a Fairlight IIX you can buy for sesible money !

Yup! And built like a tank! BTW, there are some good Mirage websites out there w/ samples, etc.

Here's a sample editor that was written for the Korg DSS-1 but also supports the Mirage:

And Syntaur Productions has plenty of disks w/ Mirage sounds, docs, and other nifty bits (including software to turn your mirage into a regular synth):

Try Timly Grae on EGN - he's in a band that used to use a Mirage...They might have some stuff as well. Although I can't imagine thay've touched that machine in years...
