I should have picked their latest CD, "dirty dancing" last year, but these days, there are way too many releases. Who can really keep up? Apparently, Swayzak went TechHouse where Electroclash evolved from . . . It is amazing and highly recommended.

If you liked Swayzak. They had one of the biggest "electroclash" singles of last year. Check out FC Kahuna - "Machine Says Yes".

thanks.... i am not a big fan of electroclash or modern synthpop. In electroclash, I only like Golden Boy. Many electroclash has very poor production and lacks song arrangements. I dispise Fischerspooner with a passion. Only cool thing that's going for him his hair color and dancers. I like Swayzak because it sounds polish. That's what electroclash should sound like... Professional and polished. I like old synthpop like Human League, Bronski Beat, New Order, and few other UK synthpop acts that some type of sex appeal, excitment, and weirdness in their music. After spending tons of money buying Modern Synthpop, I am very disappointed. It seems like uniqueness and modernism are unheard by few artists I purchased. Modern Synthpop song writings are really good or even better than past, but nothing unique stands out. If you heard one or two good songs, you heard the rest of the whole scene. It seems like lots of artists
are going for TOP40 music with cool keyboard sounds. If I want TOP40 music, I would buy TOP40 music.

New Swayzak reminds me of Modern dance version of very early Human League. It sounds sexy and funky. It got all the elements
to become a hit in Europe. In America is different story, because it is so hard to start a scene in US without media support.
Anyway, thanks for the info....

Pop, I totally agree with you about electroclash. Golden Boy and Swayzak are two of the only electroclash-approved artists I respect. Both of them really just do electro-influenced house music, and I think they've been adopted by the electroclash scene only because of their vocal collaborators (Miss Kittin and Adult, respectively). Selway is someone else I'd put in the same league, you might enjoy his album also. And don't forget about Les Rythmes Digitales, who were doing it years before it was trendy.

I agree... They write really great synth work and production is spotless.... It doesn't sound like it was done on a 4tk recorder...
Many layers of revolving synths really get me going.
