If you hear or see something enough times, you might start to believe it. Media can change political views. PETA has gotten me to cut down on my meat consumption.

What is evil or bad? A commericial pushing fried chicken alone can be the slaughter of many chickens even if you yourself didn't do the killing.

The idea of what is beautiful and ugly, levels that should be aspired to...to the weak mind can be quite intimidating and somewhat influencial.

My TV wants me to buy mainstream music. I can't think of anything worse.

I most certainly think that what you watch and hear can influence what you do or how you think and feel. Our opinons and everything that we have as we develop are based on what is our environment.

Sometimes in various circumstances things are at a state where you stagger on the edge and seeing something on the tube can most definitely push you either to one side or the other.

Not sure if it is all the direct but i can definitely how under the right circumstances this is a factor since there is so much media flooding the brain it has to have some sort of an effect.

Simple thought experiment -- how many people have observed the same media that the person who committed the crime did, and did not commit any crimes? Answer: a statistically significant sample. So, no, there might be a relationship, but it's not causal.

i am with the no on this
there may be something related but it would be far off
people that are ready to go nuts would of probably done it at some point either way

This is tough to say for certain, but I would say that the media input can definitely apply pressures on us to feel and then act in certain ways as a result.
