Just recieved and e-mail from the T.O.Y. camp. The new album, "White Lights", featuring Steffen Keth (De/Vision) on vocals for the song "The Sky is the Limit", will be released in Germany on May 26th. So hopefully we'll see it in the states a few weeks after that. Along with the normal release, there will be a limited edition fan release containing a second CD full of club remixes that T.O.Y. has been working on for other artists such as In Strict Confidence, 18 Summers (ex Silke Bishoff), and more...

I'm looking forward to this. I have always wanted De/vision and T.O.Y. to work together. Just look at the T.O.Y. remix of "Drifting Sideways". awesome!

Very cool !! I've been craving some new materials from T.O.Y........ Their last release have showed the group in it's prime stage. "Silvertears" & "Space Radio" are still being played often on my stereo. Collaboration with De/Vision is simply awesome !! Can't wait till May 2003 now......... Cheers.

Thanks for the update, Seraphim!
T.O.Y. also remixed De/Vision's "Your Hands On My Skin". I think T.O.Y. has done a great job remixing both "Your Hands On My Skin" and "Drifting Sideways". I'm glad Volker kept the robotic voice in his remix of "Driftign Sideways". That was cool!
I saw T.O.Y. live at Synthpop Goes the World in Toronto. They didn't have that great of a stage presence, but they sounded great. Volker's live voice sounds just like it does on the albums. I'd love to see them again live soon. I think their last three releases of "Angels Only!", "Silvertears", and "SpaceRadio" are great. I want that limited edition of "White Lights"!!

He was trying to put this together for 2002 as well but no one would pick it up. Then he descided that he wanted to devote more time to remixing and a new album. Hopefully we'll see a TOY tour this year and hopefully some promoter will pick it up for the LA area. I know I'd be front row center.

Yeah I'd love to see these guys. I was very happy when Funker and Evils Toy went for a more melodic bouncier and poppier sound in the late 90's...hopefully more industrial bands follow suit^_^
