Just wanted to let those of you who have not visited C&E'S forum or website in a while know that "The Sunrise EP" and a 12" vinyl single of "Into The Light," have been released. The following is an excerpt from their press-release:
Cause and Effect return with their most ambitious release to date. The Sunrise EP is a gorgeous fusion of electronica and pop with intelligent thought provoking lyrics. Featuring 5 brilliant new tracks and 3 remixes, including the deeply infectious laid back groove of their first single Into the Light, the slinky electro-bass beats of Long Way Down, the melodic acoustic anthem Stay, the progressive house inspired Sunrise, and the melancholy downtempo Vicarage Road. The EP also features remixes by Ryan Cosboom of Halou (Nettwerk) and Andres Oscuro (Moonshine.)
RELEASE & TOUR :: The EP and 12” single are initially available to the public via Cause and Effect’s redesigned interactive website at www.causeandeffect.com. The band will be touring the US in early 2003 and looks to debut at Winter Music Conference in Miami, March 18 through March 21, 2003. A full 25 city tour is in the planning stages and will include stops in Sacramento, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, Mexico, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Salt Lake City and others. Offers and opportunities for a tour in Europe are also being explored.
Check out www.causeandeffect.com for more information and to listen to audioclips of the new releases.
Thanks,
Baker
