I'd have to say go Tampa Bay Bucanneers, you have my blessing to kick the Oakland Raiders arse 37 - 3.

ok first off the bucanneers have never scored 37 points and not one player on the tampa bay team will have a career close to jerry rice's career

While I live like an hour from Oakland...theresd just too much of a thug image with that team. Was hoping the SF 49ers would have made it...49ers vs. Raiders would have been too cool.

At any rate Im just looking forward to the commecials..

it gonna be the raiders who comes up on top. it's probably the last chance to win sb for jerry rice and tim brown and that will clinch it.

i cheered for the browns myself. living in denmark you don't really have any personal references to the teams, but in the movies the cleveland teams are always the ones being ridiculed (in any sport), so i just had to be sympathetic to them, i guess :laugh:

since neither the browns or the chiefs (only danish player :) ) made it i'm taking the raiders side. they've got the coolest image :laugh:

True thats the one thing that sucks about Los Angeles fans...They seem to think it's okay to riot in the streets everytime a team wins something big...

Ah yes, the Pirate Bowl. I don't really care which team wins as long as it's not a total blowout. If Tampa Bay's offense can manage to score at least 20 points, then their defense will hold against the Raiders. I'll even take a guess at the final score. On paper it should be a good game with the #1 defense vs. #1 offense. As with any sporting event prediction, it's all merely speculation. Bucs-20 Raiders-13

Only reason to watch the Pirate Bowl is for the commercials, movie previews, occational f word accidentally caught on camera, and any 'surprise chaos' that may occur(ie: fan riots, Tom Clancy novel, etc)

Final score Bucs 34, Raiders 21...Not a bad finish, but a little effort a bit too late for the Raiders...

Oh and there was a riot in Oakland too...Damn heathens!!! Your team loses so you take to the streets to loot, burn cars, and act like a mob of idiots??? Imagine the chaos if they'd won the game instead of lost, it would have been pandemonium, then they really would have had a reason to act crazy...


None the less, I'm glad it was all handled peacfully, and I didn't hear the news mention anyone getting seriously hurt...
