Just wondering if any of you guys are as curious as me to know what's going on on the Red Flag homefront???
No news on the release schedule for Aside and Beside Ourselves, Remnants, nor the new studio album...
Maybe the guys are taking that well deserved break for a while before continuing afterall...Might be a good thing too considering the last two albums have been met with mixed criticisms...
So what's you take on it???

Personally I want to hear news about "Who Are The Skulls? 2". I would love to know who all are the remixers this time out. I believe Synthetik FM is in, but I can't recall any other names. Anybody?

Yeppa,
i was wondering as well about the BIG SLEEP that is goin on at www.reflag.org. No news, no hello 2003 and so on. Just that boring DONT STEAL MUSIC advice. I guess RED FLAG are not suffering on illegal music copying as those hardliners who listen to em really buy their cds. We, the fans are really hardcore music freaks and we are not content with a cheap sounding mp3 of any red flag track. We buy the music, let alone because we know otheriwse RED FLAG will vanish from the synth planet. Or does anyone of u listen to mp3s of RED FLAG? I´m shure u al posess the original matreial. Or am I blue-eyed?
So nuff said on that. Maybe they really think about the criticism that is made on the last cds. I really dislike giving bad words on encouraged artists. But hei, if we dont give pro and cons and stay on the "all is just fine"-trail we are not really objective. We are lousy freaks sayin HOORAY to all we get. And RED FLAG do not really need a "YES SIR, THATS RIGHT SIR, ALL FINE SIR"- front. Nono. If they think thats the waay to go they will go on and our ways divide as they led together long before. But maybe they were just on an experimental path and go back to their roots.
Thats the problem if u made perfect music like EAC or THE CRYPT. U cannot get better - just different.
So lets hope they sit in the warm sun and enjoy their lives, find inspiration for some hands full of warm and inspiring tunes, touchy lyrics and catching beats. And all will be fine in 2003.
Mark and Chris!!! We count on you - 2003 - this is YOUR YEAR, kay?! ;0)
greetings to u all,
tom aka moles

I think they are taking a nice break. I agree with Molesharding, I hope this is the year of Red Flag.
Goodluck Red Flag! I know you'll do well!

Things may be quiet but not behind the scenes...
Next up for plan b records is the new Scribe Machine maxi-CD 'Fragile'. 11 tracks with lots of cool remixes by Brand New Idol, Iris, Shades of Grey, Intuition and more. Due out in a month or 2.
Skulls II will happen later this year and Scribe Machine has signed on for that again.
There is also a rumor that Mark may do a guest vocal spot with Scribe Machine in the future.

Yeah, I suspect that they are getting things ready for their next set of releases. Probably did throw in some (much needed) R and R too. Knowing how ambitious Mark and Chris are, they won't be quiet for much longer. I'll continue to keep checking up on them on a daily basis.
Cyrano Jones: Great to see things are gearing up for Scribe Machine!!! Sounds like you've been pretty busy with a number of projects. Good luck with everything this year. You always do a good job.
