Hi all! :)

Today at my work I heard "Superstition" on the Radio here in Rio, but not played by 7Red7.

Was played by Stevie Wonder (or was Ray Charles?)

I search on the credits of the albums LIQUID and BASS STATE COMMA, and on the Single of "Superstition" and in all says "All songs written and performed by seven red seven" with NO exceptions!

They realyl done a cover from Stevie Wonder, or was Stevie Wonder that done?

Anyway, they assume that they wrote the song on his releases.

Any knows the answer? maybe you Dan? :)

Superstition.

That's um, definately a Stevie Wonder tune.

I haven't heard 7red7's version but does the chorus go like this:

"If you believe in things, you can't understand, then you suffer..."

Yeah, that's Stevie Wonder.

It was definitely a cover of Stevie Wonder's classic hit.

I don't recall realizing that there were no credits on there for him. I will check my cd.

Oh yeah Stevie Wonder penned that one for sure...Seven Red Seven also did a cover of another Stevie Wonder song My Sheri Amor, and it appears on the Superstition 12" as the b-side...

Sad though I checked my Superstition single, and theres no credit given there either...

Although you know what, that might be logical considering Superstition has been covered over the years by a number of artists...Maybe ASCAP has written it off as a classic/traditional that doesn't need to be given credit to the original artist anymore...

Anyway, I think is wrong sign as you wrote a song that you don't made. :/

Maybe they only don't put the credits to not to pay them... hehhee :)

Yep, it's a Stevie Wonder classic. In fact, someone auditioned with it on American Idol the other night.
