Do you look at anyone else's playlists?

Do you think they're a good overall promotional tool, or more of just a personal thing?

I look to see if bad music is played in clubs worldwide.

and my god, i thought I had it bad...

seriously, if I heard some of those songs listed at any club I went to, I'd finish my drink and LEAVE.

still, I understand that the DJ is a slave to what the crowd wants to hear...but come on.

maybe we need better-educated clubgoers...

They are only a slave to the crowd if they alow themselves to be or are lazy.

Better educated club goers would be nice, but from what I've heard, 90-95% of people don't really want to hear that much new stuff when it comes to music. Studies have been done by radio stations, and its always been the same-a small minority want to hear more, while most want to hear the same stuff. Same at clubs. Not that I like this, but it is reality.
