Does seomeone know any datails on the supposedly upcoming album of tracks from the "Machines" era called "Remnants?
I've been looking forward to this one as I've struggled to like the latest RF offerings, but loooooooove the early tracks.
After "The Crypt", something happaned that did not appeal to me. Hard to pinpoint what it really was.
I've noticed the praise for "Heaven in Medias Res" here and it is, to say the least, justified. It's one of those songs that just left me in awe.
Maybe it adds to the experience that I broke up with a fanatstic girl at the time of its release...Sandra...where are ya..?
Oh well, "Remnants"...comments?

When I talked to Mark about it at Synthcon, all he would tell me was that it was definately going to blow us all away, and leave us wondering why I.R.S. didn't want to put it out... Actually theres more to why they didn't, but thats another story...I don't have any tracks to offer in terms of titles...The other thing Mark mentioned (and like me I'm sure you'll agree is the best choice) is that they're attempting to keep as much of the original takes as possible...ie; the original music tracks, vocal takes etc...The original vocal tracks will be remastered as best as possible, but there are a few tracks that are still uncomplete demos that have to be finished, so expect a bit of an updated vocal twinge on those...All in all it looks like a promising album, I know I'm looking foward to...
Don't worry though buddy, I'm just like you, I have to wait, and the wait's beginning to get to me...I'd like to hear it already!!! :)

B-Sides Ourselves is a collection of all of the Megablack and Fear series Boxset singles b-sides...It will also have all of the one-off b-sides from the original Black Christmas E.P. as well...I don't think it's going to have anything like Control, Rescure, Rhythmic and Tekno Vibrations though... :)
The complete tracklisting was available on their site last I checked :)

So was me. Its a bit sad if ur have to wait for new-old material to get back to ure band. Maybe RF should have a look at this forum, just to get an impression how their fans behave on their change in music. Listening to their newest releases makes it hard for me to understand why i am such a fan. But then i get back to THE CRYPT and any album before and i am back in heaven!!!!!!!!

I asked Robert about it at Synthcon, and he said he'd heard of EGN and was a member actually...He didn't say his name though, and in the excitement of everything, I completely forgot to ask :)

why so?? the planes aint flying to the USA anymore?? ;-)
I have read that Todd collected some votes for a possible revival of SynthCon-like fest in the future, hence there'll be something good ahead probably!
