Next DM tour....

I'm kinda new around here and have been reading about dm releasing their next group album sometime in 2004. Does this mean they will be touring in the U.S. as well sometime in 2004??? any help is greatly appriciated! thanks!

Ok, I just re-read your post. I realize that you want to know about next year. No, there aren't any plans for a tour next year that I know of. I honestly think that they won't be ready for a tour until sometime in 2005. I could be wrong though. Below is my original post to you. Sleep deprivation is a baaaaaad thing.

No, they aren't releasing a brand *new* album. The post about the new album is misleading. I can see why you are confused. There are rumors (highly reliable) of a dM remix album coming out later this year. I want to say October, but I could be off. *That's* the "new" album. Here are the scheduled releases for this year:

Martin Gore solo album 4/03
Dave Gahan solo album 6/03

dM remix album 10/03
101 dvd 11/03

I found this information at depeche-mode.com's website. This is NOT the official website for dM, but it's a great fan site. The information posted comes from highly reliable sources. I trust this information. :)

There has been talk of Dave doing shows in select cities. I don't know how reliable *that* is though. It could happen. There are NO plans for dM to tour this year. I highly doubt that Martin will tour for his album at all. He has a baby son and two girls and a wife to keep him more than busy.

Yes I think the next time we'll see DM on tour well be in 2005.

Until then Gahan is suppose to tour for his solo album,no word if Mart will for his. But aleast you'll have something to hold you over.

I personally am hoping for 2005. I should have all my 2001 dM related debts paid off by then. :laugh: I will then be able to run up a new bill. :D I can't wait!
