I am looking for suggestions of bands that have their CD's available for purchase at Amazon. I have a gift certificate I need to use and nothing grabs me right now.

So throw me some bones .....

Hey
Can't go wrong with the Spandau Ballet box set, "Reformation"... (ok, well, I am only somewhat joking)...
Perhaps there is a fine Ninthwave proj- no, must stop hyping!

If you like classic dub grooves then the Grace Jones "Island Years" set is amazing... she does a distrubing (in a good way) cover of Joy Division's She's Lost Control.

And right now I am reading "Seabuscuit"- about horse racing, about which I could care less but the book is a fantastic read and makes it interesting...

Always Simpsons Season 2... or LOTR 4 disc set... oh wait, these are all things I want....

I dunno, perhaps you can buy some generic perscription drugs and throw yourself a party, or did Amazon stop selling drugs?

Both Ninthwave Records and A Different Drum have all their cds listed with Amazon, and there are several artists such as Color Theory and Red Flag which also have the bulk of thier catalog available through Amazon. I can't really think of a specific disc to recommend, since I don't know what you don't already have...

Just ordered the Soft Cell - Live in Milan DVD. Since I had tickets and was not able to go (Meg and Jean went in my place) maybe this will quench my thirst. Apparently this is the identical set to their latest tour.

Thanks for all your suggestions!

Barry Adamson "The King Of Notting Hill." Try something different.
