The re-issue of the Black Christmas MCD... Do the added tracks make it worth getting? I ask because I have the original version MCD from 2000, and I saw they added 2 tracks to the newer version.

What are the new tracks??? I can give you an honest opinion then, I also have the original from 2000...Mine is actually titled Red Mass, and was released 1999-2000 Christmas...

I would get the 2001 single if I was you. It has a beautiful version of Ave Maria and also a song called I Don't love Christmas, which I absolutely LOVE!! In fact you can hear that song on their Mp3 site. I've played it at least 5 times today!! I can't get it out of my head. :)

I'm listening to it right now. Sassygirl is right; it's well worth every penny. And it's not just good at Christmas time, it's good any time of the year. Trust me, you'll love it. Gives you a little different perspective on the holiday season. ;)

The new tracks are a version of Ave Maria and I Don't Love Xmas. Thanks everybody for your help! I'll have to pick up a copy of the newer version. In the meantime, I'll check out I Don't Love Xmas at the mp3.com site...

How many times have they released this single now?
For me it sounded like they´ve released it like three times, the original version from 2000, one from last year and one now?
Am I mistaken...?
Just listened to I don´t love xmas...
A very calm sweet red flag:ish song! I like it....
Red flag christmas songs...wonderful.

Twice, I think. The 2000 version, and then the 2001. There wasn't a new version for the single this year, but they did a new version for EGN only (I assume).
Listening to Red Flag's Black Christmas and Cosmicity's "Crappy Xmas Present" made me wonder... what if someone put togeather a compilation of dark synthpop tunes about christmas? Would it be something people would want to have?
This just occured to me because it seems that there are several people out there who enjoy a darker spin on this usually bright and happy holiday season...

Not me. As cool as Black Christmas is, I dig the Christmas season for what it is to me (bright and full of love (hold the cheese)), not darkness. My 2 centavos.

I wouldn´t mind a compilation like this...
Or dark covers of Christmas tunes :)
